Hey All,

Just dropping by to post the template I created and have used for US 6-9 and EU4-6. Hope it helps future MA hosts. I will paste the bare bones so that way it can be easily accessed and manipulated for your needs.

I will also post various bracket formats I have used and how I went about advertising them.

-------------------------------------------------------
BRACKET FORMATS/ADVERTISING
-------------------------------------------------------

IF ONLY 8 TEAMS (SINGLE ELIMINATION)- 2 BRACKETS OF 4 TEAMS; WITH TOP 2 ADVANCING FROM EACH BRACKET TO FINALS

IF 13 TEAMS- 1 ALL STAR BRACKET FROM WHICH THE WINNER WILL AUTO ADVANCE TO FINALS. 3 REMAINING BRACKETS WILL BE PLAYED OUT BEST OF 3 SERIES AND THE WINNER FROM EACH BRACKET WILL ADVANCE TO FINALS.

IF 16 TEAMS(SINGLE ELIMINATION)- 4 BRACKETS IN ROUND 1 WITH TOP 2 FROM EACH ADVANCING TO A ROUND 2 GAME IMMEDIATELY AFTER ROUND 1. FROM THE ROUND 2 GAMES TOP 2 FROM EACH BRACKET WILL ADVANCE TO FINALS ON SUNDAY FOR FINALS FORMAT GAME.

FINALS FORMAT: BEST OF 3 OR FIRST TO 2 WINS (Within the 3 games). IF no team wins twice and there is a tie in points THEN game 4/5 will be played immediately; from which the team with highest total points will win/or a team that has won twice in a row.

POINTS: 5 3 2 1

*Players should be familiar with all rules.

*Each team must declare a "captain", who will be in charge of making decisions for their team.

*Refs will post replays and screenshots of the game immediately after the match has concluded.

*Refs can use the -Kick feature if warranted and cleared with the host.

*Refs decide NOT THE PLAYERS who is allowed to observe in game.

CASTERS / STREAMERS:
Spoiler:
*Casters / Streamers ARE TO FOLLOW ALL RULES AND ANY VIOLATION OF THE RULES CAN RESULT IN DISMISSAL FROM THAT MATCH AND/OR THE EVENT.

3) Charity Tournament Casting Rules:

NOTE: These Rules come from Josin and were given to Monty:

1) No BM or language on Tournament Casts
Reason: This is an official Tournament and thus is representing the map directly.

2) Commentary should be On-Topic
Casters should focus on the game at hand and should not engage viewers or whispers in game.

3) Casters should not ALL chat (or pause) in game
Reason: The appointed referee should be doing this.
Exception: Casters can communicate with the Referee in game to make an announcement if there is a need for 1.

4) Casters should Represent the Map and Tournament in a Positive Way
Reason: Criticism and complaints about People, the Tournament, or Balance have a negative impact on the Map reputation as a whole.

PROCEDURE FOR KICKING A PLAYER:

Spoiler:
-Refs must keep record EXACT GAME TIME at which warning (Yellow card) and possible Kick command (Red Card) were issued

-First Refs must issue a warning (Yellow card) to the player(s) involved

-If warning fails then refs must pause game and declare intention in ALL Chat that the hosts are being contacted to possibly initiate Kick command (Red Card)

-All Chat the decision and the reason why the kick feature is being implemented

-Post -Kick resume the game

APPEAL PROCESS:

Spoiler:
-We the hosts defer all in-game decision-making to our Refs.

-Always contact Refs before taking any other steps.

-Please discuss the game in its proper thread on the forum in which replay and results are posted.

-If the situation requires for the host to review, the hosts will do so.

-Hosts will meet with Ref(s) and review replays if needed and see if Ref was in the wrong.

PUNISHMENTS:

Spoiler:
a. Loss of 1 game position in which the offense was made; if last then it effects the next match

b. Disqualification of the offending team / player

c. In extreme cases, banning of the offending player

UPLOADING REPLAY FORMAT:

Spoiler:
Round#Bracket#- Winning team

PLEASE INCLUDE BOUNTY SCREENSHOT.

IN-GAME HIERARCHY / LAG ISSUES:

Spoiler:
Most Important In-Game to Least Important

In order of who should leave first:

1 - Casters / Streamers / Observers
2 - Tournament Hosts / Refs
3 - Players

was asked about my past formats so decided to just post this.
