Legacy of the Void - Multiplayer Design Changes - StarCraft II

will change the current map dramatically right? Doesn't the map use the base and add/subtract?

You're seriously asking this when the current map hasn't been patched for months?

Haha forget about patched. The activity of this forums shows the activity of the game.

I definitely have to disagree with this. Lots of people play, and I'm still seeing brand new players that are just starting out. The map holds a decent ranking in top played as well.

It is true that a lot of the more well-known (and dare I say more skilled) players have either moved on to other games or only play under smurfs. It just happens to be that most of the active posters on this forum were those same players.

People always forget that the top tier players are not the main playerbase of this game, or any other game for that matter. And that elitist attitude is one reason, at least in my opinion, that the forum doesn't have as many active members as it potentially could have had. I bet there are still a good number of lurkers though. [wave]

Base stat changes should not impact MA except in the rare case that a sttr was never modified from ladder value

Any value that has been changed in MA will not be affected by ladder patches.
