Since the update and OS unable to do diddly squat vs heroes and what not its waaaaayyy too easy to use a DT to just steam roll through everything. Anyone else notice this?

Btw it's good to see the game is getting updated at least.

Glad to see you back on the forums Lethelion (or should i say Viper :P)

DT is currently pretty popular, although I suspect that will change soon. People still haven't really figured out the new phoenix/mando, and once they do, I think it will be a different story.

There's still some hero tweaking to be done, so stay tuned for that! Proposed changes are in the 10/9 patch discussion thread under Suggestions forum, if you have any input you'd like to offer. Next patch will be this weekend.

As a side note, OS should still be pretty effective vs DT, as it does disable blink and void prison for 12.5 seconds with contaminate. Also, the MrStun upgrade gives a short 1 second stun.

not to mention the best counter to current DT is OP DW.

12.5 seconds is interminable... it should be 1/2 that at best. Guaranteed kill if you land that...

Bruh I can easily feed faster with a Dt than I can a mando. Plus if you don't know how to play vs a mando with a Dt then you can do the most complicated tactic of staying the fuck away from it.

Also lets bring back monster hellion?

Agreed that Mando is a counter to DT, but now it's a solid counter to every elite as well. While it won't one-shot most out of the gate, BC is totally doomed, and any dmg + snipe = kill on pretty much all elites. If you see heroes or elites at all, lvl 1 Mando shuts them all down. It's THE blind open now and is way OP. You don't even have to upgrade it, just lvl 1 and you're fine.

Probably should look at that Akash.

Just another quick point.. for those that can, if you Tass + Mando, you'll wipe the map clean basically. I think all heroes should just cost 6 gas. Morphs to elites not costing any gas. VERY little multi-hero play in the game anyways, so frankly we should probably eliminate it if we're going to make mando this powerful. Shouldn't have a feed monster (Tass/Fest/DT) and Elite/Hero killer (Mando) on the same team.

My $.02..

You guys act like Akash barely plays the game he has already stated multiple times that he will change it this weekend.

And DT cannot out feed mando idk who you are playing against.

Okay guys stop fighting. Firstly, dt was always a great blind opener. The blink void blink is op in so many levels and I don't think anyone can argue with that.

Secondly, yes all in all the dt fed very well but now we are closing on the gap with the new Mando updates. At the end of the day, if there is even one pub team in a random games 99% of the time unless scrim is setup, you can almost always get your return on investment with a dt. I agree with lethelion investment wise i rather get a dt then invest more than 450 on a overseer that stuns same as a level one dt.

Plus da is still viable because of his huge hp pool. If you are scared that there's Mando or spec on the field stay dt or get da and feed on someone who doesn't have Mando, or can't use it properly.

Mando is good, maybe too good, but only because it's a stark contrast from how bad it was initially. Regarding what gardul said. You can couple hks and fester, or dt fester, or any of those tier one level heroes. I don't understand your point.

BTW I'm not concerned with scrim games. As far as I'm concerned those are fine since everyone knows what to do. I just find the pub stomp on easy to use shit boring.

It hasn't been too long since akash updated latest updates. You might wanna give pub a few more weeks for them to notice the changes. Not everyone in MA jumps to the forum to look at patch notes. You must be pro to find all pub stomps boring because I still have a hard time beating some of them solo :D

Going DT is a hit or miss in pubs. They might know how to scan, or they might not.
