I've noticed that it's a lot harder to land spec lashes in this version now that os contamination no longer prevents medi lifts. The problem I've noticed is that even when you lash immediately after spec stun, it's not super hard to deny the lash for the defending person. I was thinking that os contamination should deny medi lifts, even if ability disable was nerfed to compensate. That way, people can make an extra investment in an anti hero build to consistently get hits, but they'd have to successfully land both contam and lash to do it, that way, the skill requirement is on the offensive player.

I definitely agree that the old 2 second stun was op, though. People should not be able to kill expensive heroes for an anti hero investment that small.

I think it is pretty balanced since if you didn’t know if you emp the medi it cannot loft anything (even when the units not emped. I think spec is already the strongest hero in the game since it denies any other heroes from being made (not including some exceptions). OS is fine where it is I think we can leave this stuff be.

Well, the problem I've noticed with that is the fact that it's really easy to leave the medi a little behind the hero, forcing the spec player to expose the spec to being killed by the army in order to emp the medi before lashing the hero since the spec can't be in two places at once. I haven't experimented with this a ton after the change, but, if I'm remembering correctly, os stun on the medi itself still doesn't prevent lifts. If I'm wrong about that, I guess this whole argument is rendered moot.

Not entirely sure what you mean by denying other heroes from being made, unless you're just referring to people's fear of it being on the field. The defending side getting os could still make many hero builds viable, albeit a little more risky, but a lot of times they pay off in anti unit capabilities. DA+blink rhines/lance+OS can fuck up spec pretty thoroughly
