A lot of people are using Map Hacks in SC, including MA.
I really dislike players who Map Hack and feel it ruins the game for everyone.

There have been a lot of accusations thrown around over the years, which have been increasing lately. I want to lay some ground rules down since these accusations inevitably lead to fights and issues.

-----------------------------------------------------

When accusing someone of hacks,
there are a few avenues you can go:

-----------------------------------------------------

1) EASIEST: Report the player in SC
- Go to the match in your history
- Select the player and chose "Report Player"
- Select the "Cheating" option and say you suspect the player is using map hacks
Blizzard keeps track of how many people report each account and will look into the player if they have multiple hits.

-----------------------------------------------------

2) RECOMMENDED: Submit proof to Blizzard's hacking team
- Watch the replay yourself and make sure you aren't just overreacting!
- Look for specific examples, take notes and record the times
(use the SC replay time, not MA time)
- Send an email to hacks@blizzard.com with your notes/times and attach the replay. Be sure to identify yourself and the player(s) you are accusing.
-NOTE: You may choose to do this quietly without drawing attention to yourself or the other player, or you could do this after showing the replay to others for additional opinions. This can be done in a thread on the forum or via PMs with people you trust to check the replay for you.
THIS IS THE MOST DIRECT WAY TO DEAL WITH THE CHEATER

-----------------------------------------------------

3) OPTIONAL: Make a thread on the forum
There are 2 types of threads you could make:

A) "Guys I am suspicious that player X was using maphacks in this game (post replay). Look at time xx:xx when he does (something suspicious). Tell me what you think."

B) "GUYS PLAYER X IS A MAPHACKER!!!
PROOF,PROOF, PROOF"

IF you decide to make a thread along the lines of Option (B), here are the rules:

1) Consider Option (A) instead, its preferred...

2) Do this thoroughly, before posting the thread:
- Watch the replay yourself and make sure you aren't just overreacting!
- Look for specific examples, take notes and record the times

3) Make a thread with your notes/times and attach the replay.
Don't forget to tell us if you are citing MA time or SC replay time.
Be sure to identify yourself and the player(s) you are accusing in the replay.
