When you buy an elite upgrade and your elite dies you lose the upgrade? I've noticed this happen a couple of times with DW double barrage attack and ghost emp upgrade. Maybe I'm missing something.

If that is in fact the case (which I'm pretty sure it is) it makes no sense whatsoever. Especially considering you can't even re-buy the upgrade.

The ups are (should all be) permanent. Ie a global upgrade for all current/future elites of that type.
