Didn't get to watch the whole thing, but some good stuff in there.

@40 in darkness said to go queen so they could end it fast, haha. Nice try. Good support though.

Raga started with col, good choice considering Stabby went tass. Col beats tass. His downfall was investing too much into col early on.

Seering did a great job despite getting his bc denied so many yamato's. Almost ended the game just after sd by almost killing white. Seering played really well this game, was fun to watch.

Stabby, I heard there was a lot of raging later on in sd. I'm sad I missed that part. Stabby showed that snipers are still a valid option, and also showed why tass > hta.

Hayden played well. I don't think I agreed with the switch to templelots though. Hayden definitely beastmoded it a few times with spect though.

Props to tyler for sticking it out after bean left. Overall good play by both of them.

MVP goes to white for being in the lead the majority if not all of the game. I think he could have switched to templelots around the 1:30 timeframe when he was 20k score ahead of everyone. Probably could have ended it sooner (but then again, that's around when I stopped watching).

Good analysis MatPat :) I think our opinions differ on a couple points.

Hayden and stabby played it mostly correctly imo. When you're that far behind but it's 2v1, the best way to come back is with a strong offensive hero (or 2) and strong rines.

I do think that HTA would have been a better option than DTA though - I can't remember who, but a strong player once told me that it's worth it in the late game to sacrifice a hero for all of the opponent's marines. HTA is definitely capable of that, with relatively few upgrades.

I also think Time and Darkness should have both gone melee after SD - generally that's a good option when one player is full support. Lancer and bruta are actually the two worst mercs in terms of scaling, with bruta being only slightly better. They're strong early, but it's always better to ditch them after SD unless you hard counter someone.

I would actually give MVP to Darkness though - that style can be frustrating to play and is difficult to pull off.

Just my thoughts, and yeah Tyler OP with the warps - he forgot to get vulture though, would have helped <3

A back and forth scrim, strong play from multiple players. Teams:
MatPat + Sasin
Beb(Ragey?) + Bigwang
SomeDouche + Johnny(HectorP)
Ice + Tylercm

All teams played well, and pretty much every team had a big opportunity that was missed. Main thing to learn from this game is that sometimes aggression is the key :D
Also none of you used spec stun lol

It was also streamed and casted by myself+Zealous: Twitch

Spoiler:
Team 1: MatPat/SomeDouche (win)...a deer walks into a bar...
Team 2: Ftwkidclick, George (George rage quit, for shame....was doing so good too)
Team 3: HectorP, ArchonlordX
Team 4: Akash, Leetpotato

Had one rage quitter and one epic lagger almost got dropped 3 times. Rip-eroni.

First scrim on the new patch. Went to sd then not much after.

Akash was in lead most of the game. Lesson learned with HK's now, mando nade hard counters. Medevac can no longer pick them up and they can't move freely through an army so they get stuck.

Either t4 or t1 because t3 and t2 base traded.

Long scrim, unfortunately MatPat disconnected right near the end.

Teams:
MatPat + Jpxp(SnowJon)
Akash + Darkness
OneCentStamp + Huan
Spartacus + ArchonLordX

Pretty even game all throughout. Even those that were behind weren't super far behind. Made it extremely difficult to finish, but it finally happened with some tactical sacrifice 4 medi drops.

File size is too big, so I hosted it on Dropbox: Download Link

Spoiler:
Akash + Darkness win
URL: Dropbox - super long scrim.SC2Replay

It was a good game indeed but a great battle was missed at the end there. Well played by everyone. Scores were even up until the 30-40k after about 1+30 in. Archonlord was snowballing pretty good, but got taken by surprise.

Takeaways from this one:
-Akash op mede drops
-Tanks are pretty good (got a few up to 300+ kills)
-Mando beats spect up pretty bad
-Mando snipe can one shot ravens (and a few other elites)
-People are still learning the new spect but mando is popular now (every team had one I think).

I don't know who I would give MVP to. There were a lot of strong plays made by multiple people. I also missed all the juicy parts at the end so I think there could have been something there.
