Two new scrims tonight. Both showing the full potential for a scrim to be really short or really long. Overall, excellent games.

Scrim 1:
Team 1: MatPat, Johnny (hectorp)
Team 2: MicroJackson, Darkness
Team 3: Bootyqueen, Doomforce
Team 4: Beb, cumquats

Spoiler:
MatPat and Johnny win.

Excellent job by Johnny using warplots. Team 2 was knocked out less than 30 minutes in. Up until then, it was very even on every team. Johnny gets MVP.

Scrim 2:
Team 1: MatPat, SomeDouche
Team 2: Microjackson, darkness
Team 3: Beb, cumquats
Team 4: Akash, fenrir

Spoiler:
Team 2 wins after 2.5 hours. I'm not kidding.

MVP goes to darkness. He did an excellent job late game and was the reason for such an epic comeback. His use of SV on DA was something I had never seen and crushed us. Game goes back and forth for a while, team 1 gets a strong advantage in SD, then Team 2 makes a gnarly comeback.

My mistake I think was upgrading mando and dt vice just going to da. Regardless, Darkness was able to use sv, bc, da, and ravens while I was maxed out at blink rines/da/ravens/mando and even then my mando died like 3 or 4 times.

That second scrim sounds epic - fenrir and I got knocked out pretty early, not too long after SD.

Went for the diamondback opener just for lulz but it turned out to be more effective (and fun) than I expected. For anyone wanting to try out dback in future scrims, I would definitely advise getting a merc much earlier than I did.

It's not meant to feed, although it is great at clearing the tower. Use it to force opponents into bad positions/make them retreat.

Also, BC/raven owns it pretty hard since it can't hit air lol

Would highly recommend watching game 2 and watching from as soon as its 2 teams. It was a constant back and forth with no clear winner, pretty epic game

Haha I wanna see that ^

I dont know if spectre woulda worked out well. With void prism, mind control, feedback, and blink rines, that would have been difficult to pull off. Though it couldnt have been as bad as the da play.

Two new scrims tonight. I only have the full replay of the second one but I will update the stats on the first one.

Team 1: Akash, SnowJon
Team 2: TylerCm, Doomforce
Team 3: Sassin, Hyun
Team 4: HectorP, Fenrir

Spoiler:
Team 4 wins.

This game had no clear ending in sight for a long time. Some big plays in sd starting from about 1:20 and on. SnowJon and TylerCm lost connection. Might've been a different game if that hadn't had happened. Tyler was crushing it for a while, at one point I thought he would take it home.

Sassin had a strong lead all game but was held back by his teammate who went all in on spectre until after sd when he finally got a merc. That cost the game when akash went all in and got sassins cc.

Instead of mvp I am going to do most skillz. Gotta give this one to sassin. Hyun gave good mando/spectre support, but sassin was stuck fighting 1v2 most every battle. Despite that he was still in first all game long until he got sniped (and sniped well) by akash.

Fenrir showed the true colors of a good col user vs akash once akash was sandwiched in. That was the turning point was when snowjon lagged out and akash went all in cross map to knockout sassin thus sandwhiching himself in.

HectorP had some good play in there as well. Those gol's created an iron wall and he was able to hold center really well despite the numerous melee/dt/blink rines out on the board.

Gg, definitely worth watching.

LOL I forgot that listening to music would show up in the stream.

From 20:00 to 50:00 is muted (copyright), and after 50:00 you can hear my music :P

Still, if you wanna watch: Twitch

Teams:
MatPat + farware
Fenrir + Siddartha
SnowJon + TisFvckinGuy
Sasin + Will

MatPat d/c but farware was able to keep sniping elites from Fenrir (who got an early lead). This gave Sasin the opportunity to catch up and eventually take the lead.

Please watch at the 2:30 mark on. I say who is this guy, never seen him before in a scrim. Then he proceeds to un burrow his festor and a move to the middle and get raped almost as if on purpose. I think I earned a right to have some BM and shit talk. The lol and roflol comment from micro and darkness is pretty evident they knew he was absolute trash. I never ever feed a team but considering thats what dbest did I figured id return the favor for top right even the game out and leave. And yes I was bming because I'm tired of troll games with no competitive spirit on an even playing field. If i wanted to solo id stick to pubs. The last scrim I played i pretty handidly owned everyone solo with spartacus losing his spectre about 8 times. I threw the game and went cross map because I was tired of running 500 apm and covering everything. I would be interested to know the outcome of a game where i get a huan or a seering for example.

You see archon we all get mad but if I remember correctly you were saying in the lobby "if this does not start in 5 minutes I leave" so we had to fill so If i were in your shoes then I would have told the lobby that I wanted a different partner not urging the game to start.

So i get the bottom of the barrel that ive never seen before because i wanted the game to start in 5 min. Weak. I dont care about winning or losing anymore. I really do care about seeing the level of competition return to the days of ice and arty and the likes. I was a shit player back then and much better now because of grinding away solo. I expect it in pubs. But i trust that scrim creators will prepare games with players who are on a level in which competition will flourish. When someone a moves to the mid and you guys laugh its pretty evident that its just a glorified troll shit show arena. Then get upset when I a move and feed top right because id rather not deal with the horseshit. Good move too, because it looks like dbest tried his best to play badly and feed you guys, namely running past orange when he had mid to try and snipe a couple hks. This isnt the hallmark of competition.

Its sad and I pity for you relishing in it.
