Hey Ice I gamed w/ ya last night as TailWhip. Thanks for hangin in there and givin me some tips. I would rather lose w/ good ally than win with a douchebag. Achilles is another great ally from last night. Correct build orders, placement, counters, ect. Many of the better players that I come across let match history speak for the ally's worth and this is just not true. GL HF

take any advice from ice with a grain of salt

1) He's a very good micro player so oftentimes he suggests things which are only effective for very few ppl (altho alot more often than not hes aware of this and gives good advice)

2) Hes a great player, period. But that doesnt mean everything he does is great, but it would make him believe it to be and others too. But just because a player is #1 does NOT mean hes right about all his advice and everything he does is great

3) People have different play-styles and ways to look at a game. Ice may have a different approach to a game thus recommend smth which suits his approach but it may not be good for you. And your approach may sometimes be better

And Ice, fyi, I know ive never told you this (unless i was drunk but then i couldnt remember), but I think all that time you tried to teach me to "concave blink" like onto ledges and shit was a waste of time and overall this tactic is useless. For several reasons.
why this tactic sucks:
a) ppl retreat from battles cuz they see the concave. this is a big issue in macro play. You dont want ppl to retreat if you see you can sort of lure them and have a better trade-off
b)waste of one blink
c)an aggressive move which could be punished (because you wasted a blink on some stalkers to blink like to the mid for a concave, a third team may come in out of darkness and kill those few lancers)
d)The advantage you get from a concave is small, and is risky because one line of lancers that you blink onto a cliff or smth can be easily destroyed and you wouldnt be able to blink them back cuz you wasted a blink
e)having a scattered army makes it more difficult to control (unless your ice, but then even he prolly makes mistakes).

Lol arty you seem butthurt, I watched that game on twitch yesterday, all Ice did was tell him to go spec(after pooling tailwhip) and to give him control of his mando, and to get his merc upgrades, which has nothing to do with micro whatsoever, before you criticize someones "advice" make sure you know what advice he's giving.

um i havent watched any games in weeks. So ive no idea wtf ur talking about leddy

iam mostly referring to the good old times when me/ice were partners. And also referring to general logic as well (like when i say that players are different thus take advice with a grain of salt)
